Paul Elia is a Hamilton-based artist known for his large-format cityscapes that capture the spirit of his hometown’s cultural renaissance. A graduate of OCAD, he began his career blending traditional painting with digital media and later collaborated with filmmaker Judith Doyle on the multimedia venture Reading Pictures, as well as with abstract painter Ben Woolfitt. Since returning to Hamilton in 2007, Paul has become a central figure in the city’s art scene, with his panoramic works exhibited in galleries, museums, and public spaces across Southern Ontario. His striking cityscapes celebrate both place and transformation, cementing his role as one of Hamilton’s most recognizable visual storytellers.
