Anne deJong

Anne deJong is an Alberta-based landscape painter whose vivid oil works are grounded in her deep connection to the Rocky Mountains. Trained in visual communications, she spent years in graphic design and print before returning to her first love: painting. Since 2019, she has built a growing body of work that captures the textures, motion, and awe of Canada’s wilderness through her distinctive palette knife technique. Her paintings are held in private collections across Canada, the U.S., the U.K., Australia, and the Netherlands, with upcoming shows including a 2025 solo exhibition at the Leduc Arts Foundry. Anne’s work is available through her website, annedejongart.com.
